We have a presence in over 155 local offices and support our works council members, union representatives, youth and apprentice representatives, and representatives for people with severe disabilities. Here on the ground, we discuss demands, develop strategies, and support workplace initiatives.

We’re also the first point of contact for members right here on the ground: Our experts answer questions about all aspects of the workplace—whether it’s about correct pay grading, reviewing employment contracts or performance evaluations, getting help with termination, or verifying pension notices. IG Metall competently stands by its members, advising them and representing them out of court—and, of course, in court when necessary.
