Tutorial on the Shift Calendar How to Edit the Shift Calendar in the IG Metall App

In addition to relevant news on collective bargaining and data management services, the IG Metall app a shift calendar where you can

• Create shift cycles,
• create custom shift types,
• save all common shift models,
• and display your scheduled shifts.

You can also save your calendar to your device or have it sent to you via email.

The app is incredibly easy to use

To create a new shift cycle, open the“Shift Calendar”in“Services”(the button at the bottom of the screen) and tap the pencil icon in the top-right corner.

Under the“Shift Cycles”heading, you can now create your cycle for the shift calendar. To do this, tap“New Cycle.” A new menu will open where you can select the length and shift types for your cycle. You can confirm or save your changes by tapping the checkmark in the top-right corner.

Once the cycle is created, you can apply it to the corresponding days in the calendar view. To do this, simply select the days on which your shift begins and ends by tapping them.

And just like that, the app will display your shift schedule!
