Podcast: Hard Work and Malibu IG Metall’s Strong Backbone – Union Representatives

Anyone at work who has a problem or wants to know something goes to them: the union representatives. They stand up for their coworkers—and they do so on a volunteer basis. They usually don’t receive time off from work or protection against termination. Yet their eyes light up when they talk about their work. In the podcast *Maloche und Malibu*, Sanaa Boukayeo, a union representative at Opel, and union representative expert Inga Neumann explain how they organize collective bargaining struggles, advocate for employees, and grow personally through these responsibilities.
