IG Metall regularly offers internships. These allow interns to apply and test their theoretical knowledge in practice and to gain insight into the workings of the world’s largest single trade union.
As a Fair Company, we offer students internship positions that serve as career orientation or are part of their thesis work.
The number and topics of the internships depend on available positions, mentoring opportunities, and the students’ respective areas of study. With our internship program, we aim to reach all interested and committed students who identify with the values and goals of the labor movement.
The duration and content of a voluntary internship at IG Metall are agreed upon on an individual basis. Internships can begin at any time of the year.
