Flood disaster Unions are calling for donations for flood victims

The damage in the states affected by the flooding is enormous. The DGB and its member unions express their deepest sympathy to all affected families and their loved ones. We would like to thank the many rescue workers and volunteers who have been and continue to be on the ground.
 

Show solidarity

Colleagues, families, and friends here have also been severely affected. Now is the time to show solidarity to mitigate the consequences of this disaster. Those affected need quick and unbureaucratic help. Now we must stand together and help, so that the people and regions affected have a future to look forward to.
 

Unions Help

For anyone who wants to help, the organization “Gewerkschaften helfen” has set up a donation account under the reference “Floods 2024.”

The donations will go directly to those affected. The DGB is kicking off the fund with a donation of 30,000 euros. IG Metall has contributed 50,000 euros.
