The spirit of cooperation among the coalition partners is palpable. Now it’s time to move from negotiations to action. Our country needs confidence.

The special fund for infrastructure and the relaxation of the debt brake were the right steps. The people across the country, the workers in businesses, the families in the regions, the young people in schools—they all need to have a clear idea of how their lives and work will actually change and improve.

Through lower rents and energy costs, through better education and childcare, through a fair labor market and a stable economy. Investment, the promotion of new technologies, and social and personal security are the right path. Cutting back on rights, increasing flexibility at the expense of workers, and making budget cuts are not. We will support the next steps in some areas and monitor them critically in others.”
