Frankfurt am Main – On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, the 23rd Regular Union Convention of IG Metall in Frankfurt elected Christiane Benner as Second Chair of IG Metall with 91.9 percent of the vote.

A total of 481 delegates participated in the election. Of these, 429 voted in favor and 38 voted against.
